Myanmar Alumni Coordinator

Andy works directly with ERI alumni to strengthen their network and support them in building their individual and organizational capacity. He mentors alumni and their organizations in their campaigns and assists in communicating their work through social media and other advocacy channels. Before joining ERI, Andy volunteered for two and a half years with ERI alumni organization, the Karenni Social Development Center (KSDC), where he provided administrative and technical support to the staff and trained students in subjects related to non-violent social change through curriculum that he designed. Andy is especially interested in strategies to ensure that the voices of marginalized communities and vulnerable individuals within those communities are heard. He holds an LLB Law (International) degree from the University of Leicester in the UK. Andy currently speaks Thai, Kayah and Burmese at varying levels in addition to his native language, English.
